1. Booking & Payment
1.1. Reservation: To confirm your booking, a completed booking form along with a non-refundable deposit (as specified at the time of booking) is required.
1.2. Payment Schedule: The full payment for the package must be completed no later than 60 days before departure unless otherwise agreed in writing.
1.3. Payment Methods: We accept payments via bank transfer or other methods as agreed upon during the booking process.
1.4. Booking Confirmation: A confirmation will be sent once the booking has been processed, confirming your package and payment.
2. Cancellation & Refunds
2.1. Cancellation by the Customer:
2.2. Cancellation by Ali Hijrah Travels: In the rare event that Ali Hijrah Travels must cancel the trip, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule your trip.
2.3. Refund Process: Refunds will be processed within 14-21 business days after cancellation.
Note: Under Australian Consumer Law (ACL), customers are entitled to a remedy (refund, replacement, or repair) in the event of a major problem, such as if a service is not provided as promised, is unsafe, or is not fit for purpose.
3. Travel Insurance
3.1. Insurance: Travel insurance is highly recommended to cover unforeseen events like trip cancellations, medical emergencies, or loss of personal items.
3.2. Customer Responsibility: Insurance is not included in the package and is the responsibility of the customer. Please consult with your insurance provider for details.
4. Documents & Travel Requirements
4.1. Visa: We will assist with obtaining your Umrah visa. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all documents are accurate and submitted in time for processing.
4.2. Passport Validity: Your passport must be valid for at least six months from your intended travel date.
4.3. Health & Vaccinations: Customers are required to meet all health and vaccination requirements stipulated by Australian authorities and Saudi Arabian regulations (e.g., COVID-19 vaccination, meningitis vaccine). You are responsible for ensuring you meet these requirements.
5. Accommodation & Transport
5.1. Accommodation: The accommodation included in the package is as per the package details. We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the accommodation based on availability, but we will offer similar or superior alternatives where possible.
5.2. Transport: Transport services will be provided as per the itinerary. However, we are not responsible for any delays or cancellations caused by third-party transport providers, including airlines, buses, or other forms of transportation.
6. Changes to Itinerary
6.1. Itinerary Modifications: Ali Hijrah Travels reserves the right to modify the itinerary if required due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., adverse weather, flight changes, local government regulations). We will inform you of any significant changes in advance.
6.2. Customer-Requested Changes: Any changes to the itinerary must be requested in writing and are subject to availability. Additional charges may apply.
7. Responsibilities of the Customer
7.1. Behaviour: Customers must adhere to the regulations and customs of all locations visited, including respecting local laws, religious practices, and customs.
7.2. Personal Property: You are responsible for the safekeeping of your personal property during the trip. Ali Hijrah Travels is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
8. Liability
8.1. Exclusions: Ali Hijrah Travels is not liable for:
8.2. Force Majeure: We will not be held liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to, natural disasters, strikes, war, or government restrictions.
9. Customer Feedback & Complaints
9.1. Feedback: We welcome your feedback and encourage you to share your experience with us.
9.2. Complaints: If you have a complaint, please inform us immediately during the trip so we can address the issue as quickly as possible. If your complaint is unresolved during the trip, please contact us in writing within 14 days of completing your trip.
10. Privacy & Data Protection
10.1. Data Collection: We collect personal information for booking, processing your travel package, and communicating important information related to your trip.
10.2. Data Security: We take all reasonable steps to ensure your personal information is kept secure in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and other relevant Australian data protection regulations.
11. Amendments to Terms & Conditions
11.1. Changes: Ali Hijrah Travels reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to customers before booking or updated on our website.
11.2. Consumer Rights: Nothing in these Terms and Conditions will affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law (ACL), including the right to a remedy in case of a major problem with the service provided.
